Classic auction ran from Cobras to Pintos
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Housed in a half-dozen cavernous permanent buildings at the impressive Indiana State Fairgrounds, the 22nd annual Dana Mecum Original Spring Classic Auction offered buyers more than 1,000 cars ranging from seven-figure Cobras to a yellow 1972 Pinto funny car that brought just over $4,000. That was back in June. Much warmer than it is now.
