Allen Park -- One down, one to go.

The Lions have signed running back Jahvid Best, the second of their first round draft picks (No. 30 overall), to a five-year contract. Financial terms were not immediately disclosed.

Best figures to play a key role in the Lions offense this season and having him in camp and on time is a big plus for the Lions offense.
