The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that certain priority groups receive the vaccine first, including pregnant women, children 6 months old to 24, adults 25 to 64 with underlying health conditions, and health care workers.

Twenty-two people have died in Michigan since Sept. 1 because of the H1N1, or swine flu, virus, according to the Michigan Department of Community Health.
