Help us map Metro Detroit's potholes

Use the map below to explore Metro Detroit's potholes. And if you know of one you don't see here, add it (instructions on how to add a pothole are below the map)!

To add a pothole to the map

- Click on the "Add" button in the upper right corner of the map.

In the Location tab:
- Enter a Title that describes where the pothole is.
- Either enter the address of a building that is along the road where the pothole is, OR zoom and reposition the map so the location of the pothole is visible, then click the link that says "Map Select a location" (you'll have to click okay on a little box that will pop up and tell you to click on the location on the map), then click on the position of the pothole on the map. After clicking, the latitude and longitude of the pothole's position should pop into the two text boxes to the right of the "Map Select a location" link.

In the Details tab:
- You can enter a more detailed description of where the pothole is, or of the carnage you have seen it create, in the description field.
- You can also enter your email address and telephone number if you'd be willing to have us contact you about your pothole experience.

In the Media tab:
- If you have a picture of the pothole, you can upload it here. You can also upload audio or link to a YouTube video.
